The trail of the 4th leg in the challenge "Piemonte MTBike 2010", organized by ASD Sport Stura Valley, passes through the foremost medieval villages and the best panoramic spots in the Valley.
The Albertine Fort inVinadio, where the race starts and finishes, is one of the best examples of military architecture in the whole Alpine range
At the end of the race a big pasta party is to be organized within the walls of the fort.
On Saturday June 12th the Mini Promenado - 4th leg in the F.C.I. mountain-bike provincial champioship for kids from 5 up to 14 - starts
at 3 p.m.

From Friday April 9th till Sunday April 11th 2010 the streets in Demonte are to be cheered once again by "Primadoc", a festival promoting Occitan homeland and culture. This is the second edition of the festival, organized by the Municipality of Demonte and the Mountain Community (Comunità Montana) which embodies a moment of joy enlivened by popular occitan music and dance.
The Festival is to be held in the old quarters of Demonte, in which cars are to be banned on Sunday April 11th. Moreover, shops are to be open so as visitors may taste local delis or admire the Valley craftsmen at work. The festival is sponsored by the Municipality of Demonte, the Stura Valley Mountain Community, Demonte Tourist Office, San Donato di Demonte Parish Church, Espaci Occitan, the Ecomuseum of Sheep-Farming, Li Destartavelà Cultural Association, the Piedmont Regional Authority, Demonte Trade Association, Fonti di Vinadio Inc. and Stura Valley Co-operative Dairy Farm.

On Sunday April 11th 2010 the usual international ski touring race, organized by Stura Valley Ski Club, is to be held in the ski facility in Argentera. After the morning race, a polenta meal is to be served in the facility restaurant; later in the afternoon, prizes are to be delivered in Pietraporzio. The race is to be run on classic and free tracks, please subscribe at the Municipality offices in Argentera. Infos are available on the Stura Valley Ski Club website.
